The Nadhaswaram is the traditional Dravidan musical instrument. Injikudi E.M.Subramaniam hails from the family of traditional nadhaswara vidwan's. He was born at Injikudi, a small village in the Tiruvarur District of Tamilnadu in the year 1968. He is the twentieth generation nadhaswara artist from the known records. The distinct Injikudi style of performance is embedded in his genes.
